P CAD Software

In 1996 the company ACCEL Technologies presented to the public the first version of P-CAD called ACCEL EDA. The product has gained popularity among designers of digital devices. The latest official version became a P-CAD 2006 SP2 released in 2006.
P-CAD 2006 is fully operational only in the operating systems Windows XP, Windows 2000, Windows 98, Windows 95, Windows NT.

UPGRADE PROCEDURE

After installation, shortcuts may be found in the settings path or the program menu (default setting). [See the previous post here, for more details]

* The security file is a key to use ISP functions; press the "OK" button.

* The warning shown is used to remind the user that a CPU rate that differs from IIC protocol may cause the ISP functions to fail; press the "OK" button.

* As shown in Fig, press the "Create Security File" button to key in a security code, and use the slider bar to adjust the speed of the IIC bus.

* Fig below shows the settings for the ISP softwares security code. It requires two command numbers, and the commands must be keyed in sequentially: 7C, 4C, 77. The command numbers and commands must be set by the user while coding. For more details, please refer to section 6 boot code of ISP.

Using ISP to program MCU

* As shown in Fig, select the MTV type first, load the binary or intel hex file to be programmed into the MCU, click "OK," then press the "RUN" button.

* If the user changes the MTV type, the file must be loaded again, as the previously loaded file will be cleared.

* CRC (cyclic redundancy check): the host can check the result in the CRC register instead of reading every byte in flash.

* The Check MCU CRC OK message indicates that the host has verified the programs CRC; see Fig.

DesignSpark PCB can be used successfully as professional developers, and radio amateurs and students, it is similar to other modern programs and creation of electronic devices is based on the schematic editor module and PCB layout. This software package is absolutely free. Thus it contains no restrictions on the number of circuit elements, or by time of use. On the official site is freely available library components ModelSource, containing over 85,000 circuits printed circuit boards and 35,000 three-dimensional models presented in more than 20 formats, compatible with the most famous package design of electronic equipment. When you first start must complete the free registration, which needs access to the Internet. If you do not, then save the results of work will not be available.

DesignSpark PCB software package was released in July 2010. It was developed by RS Components , whose headquarters is located in Corby (UK). Unfortunately Russian interface in DesignSpark PCB is not, the program is fully in English.
